Welcome to the half mile of hell! The prairies of southern Alberta are the heartland of ranch country and the birthplace of this sport. Guy Weadick (our namesake) was instrumental in chuck wagon racing becoming something more than a bunch of cowboys trying to cook up some beans and bacon on the open range, faster than the next outfit. Come and cheer on the 36 drivers of the WPCA as they cast their fate to the figure eight.
