Welcome to the prestigious Half Mile of Hell, a thrilling chuckwagon racing tradition rooted in the foothills of southern Alberta's historic ranch country.
This remarkable sport traces its origins to these very lands, where legendary figure Guy Weadick, a member of the esteemed "Big Four," transformed what began as friendly competition among cowboys preparing meals on the open range into a professional racing spectacle.
Today, we invite you to witness 36 elite drivers from the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) showcase their skill and precision as they navigate the challenging figure-eight course, continuing this celebrated Western heritage.

NOTE: Each day you attend, please use the different individual ticket assigned to that day to gain access. The top page will say Thursday but ignore that and bring the named day's ticket each day.
You must exchange the individual days ticket for a wristband on site.
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges except if event is cancelled; in which case we will endeavour to refund the Ticket price less a $5 administration fee.
